Partners INTP Consultants Inc. has two Senior Partners, Brian Durkin and Donald De Souza, who have extensive consulting experience in the Edmonton market.   See below for their profiles.

Team INTP has access to a number of professional consultants who are experienced and skilled at handling specific business challenges and managing projects.  Each resource has a strong business background with technical and project management skills.  Their experiences include a broad range of industries such as government (health, social services, infrastructure etc.) banking, post secondary education and insurance. All of our consultants have successfully completed projects in a number of industries with either a business or technology focus.  Their experience is supplemented with professional qualifications in areas such as management information systems, project management and finance.

 

Brian Durkin PMP, ISP, CIM

Brian Durkin is a Senior Consultant with 30 years experience as a business consultant and an information systems professional.  He has been involved in all stages of business analysis and information system development projects.  He has led and managed projects of various sizes for a variety of public and private organizations. Brian has excellent communication skills (verbal, written and facilitation), and is experienced and comfortable working with frontline workers, managers and executives.  Brian typically uses a team approach, using techniques such as focus groups, to enable smooth project progress. Brian can facilitate group sessions to effectively use senior teams in the definition of their business needs or the resolution of issues.  He has directed, coordinated and led multiple product/service activities on behalf of clients to successfully achieve project goals.  He is a proven Project Manager, and has led and managed project teams involving in-house staff and vendor resources.  Brian has supplemented his experience by gaining designations as a Project Management Professional (PMP), an Information Systems Professional (ISP) and business management designation from the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM).

  

Donald De Souza B.Comm., CGA

Donald De Souza  is a Senior Consultant with a Commerce degree and holds a Certified General Accountants designation. Donald has over 15 years of experience working with complex business problems and in the development and analyses of financial models.  Donald was the lead consultant in developing the Standard Business Case Template and Guidelines for the Government of Alberta.  Donald has performed many broad range consulting assignments which have required him to work at all levels of the organization, from professional staff to senior executives.  He brings value with his broad business and financial knowledge, and strong analytical capabilities, which result in well-supported business and cost/benefit analysis.  Donald has extensive experience in developing cost allocation models, activity based costing and performance management reporting.  He has experience in the development and implementation of financial and management information systems.
